PLAYER PROFILE: ROMAN DANYLO

Roman Danylo is a long-time favourite of TheatreSports™ audiences, and a regular on film and television screens around the world. In addition to bringing his inventive, playful style to our stage, Roman has made a name for himself through two CTV Comedy Now specials, five seasons on the sketch comedy show Comedy Inc, and appearances on Canadian comedy heavyweights Corner Gas and Just For Laughs.

In 2013, Roman led the development of The Comic Strippers as part of our Improv Test Kitchen series (running Wednesday nights at 9:15pm). The show bared it all, literally, and later successfully appeared as part of the 2013 Adelaide Fringe. LEARN COMEDY FROM THE PROS

Fancy yourself funny? Spots are still available in improv classes that start this weekend. Level 100 kicks off this Saturday and runs over over two consecutive weekends (January 11, 12, 18 and 19). In it, you’ll learn how to do good, funny improv from one of our best, Graeme Duffy. No experience is necessary for our Level 100 course, and registration comes with two tickets to any Wednesday or Thursday night show.

Starting in February, and also running over two consecutive weekends, our Level 200 will add to what you learned in 100, focusing more on advanced techniques like Storytelling and Gameology with teacher Pearce Visser.

Each class includes over 20 hours of training and costs $299 plus tax. Book your spot online for Level 100 or Level 200 by clicking on the links or by calling 604-738-7013 ex. 26.
