Good on ya! As a recent graduate (in June), I'm in the same boat, myself. Managed to find an interesting-and-mindless minimum wage part-time job that is incredibly flexible, which has allowed me time to do a fair chunk of community theatre thus far (and other things)... but I'm not sure I'm quite breaking even each month, at the moment. Though it's close. But I'm only just beginning my career here. :)

Hi Carmel,

Delighted you were inspired by PuSh. Just wanted to note that, although the original PuSh series (2003, 2004) was founded by Armour and Dunn, once it became a "Festival" in 2005 our Senior Curator has been Sherrie Johnson working with Norman. Katrina Dunn continues in her role helming Touchstone Theatre, and this year partnered with PuSh and Pi Theatre on Almighty Voice and his Wife.

Ok, how about we call it a "fabulous random theatrical event"?? Granted, we use the term flashmob loosely here, but the real spirit of the idea is to have unexpected theatre in unexpected places, and the Crofton girls did a great job!

The Crofton House performance, however charming and well-received is not a flash mob event. The distinguishing characteristic of the flash mob is that it is UNANNOUNCED.
